Grimsby Town Sports and Education Trust (GTSET) and The Premier League Kicks (PL Kicks) programme aims to create stronger, safe, and more inclusive communities through community schemes. PL Kicks and GTSET engages young people in positive activities, through their passion for football and Grimsby Town Football Club, being there consistently and not going away. The Premier League has committed funding for the PL Kicks Programme. The investment will enable GTSET to deliver the programme of free football sessions and workshops available to young people in the local communities.
We at GTSET with PL kicks aim to educate young people, by addressing topics from youth violence and knife crime to equality and inclusion. While looking to provide opportunities for young people to represent Grimsby Town FC in competitions, meeting new people and visiting new places.
BBC Children in Need are working with Premier League to fund clubs to deliver positive activities and opportunities for children and young people at risk with disabilities and learning needs. The Premier League and GTSET are working with #IWill to engage participants in social action projects, providing young people with the opportunity to give something back to their community.
